Sir Joan - Ibiza, Spain
It is turning out to be quite a busy couple of years for Amsterdam-based hospitality group Sir Hotels. With the paint still drying at the recently launched Hamburg opening, the brand has now expanded its portfolio to five properties, with the launch of Sir Joan on the Balearic island of Ibiza. The first beachside retreat for the group, the 38-room property takes its cues from Ibiza’s dual traits as both an exclusive luxury destination and a party island, with a modern property that boasts nostalgic views over the old town and the marina- after which the design takes its inspiration.
