During the years, the hotel underwent a series of refurbishments. One of the most recent - started in 2008 - was carried out by ARR&D Interiors, involving the hotel’s 105 guestrooms, 49 suites and six signature suites, its top restaurants and celebrated bars.

An extensive refurbishment of Café Royal continued in 2018 thank to the renewed vision of the Italian Architect and Designer Piero Lissoni, that permitted to create new spaces for the lobby of the main entrance and for the Laurent Restaurant on the first floor. ARR&D Interiors is once again in charge of the procurement process for all Fit-Out interior works. The manufactures involved were companies such as Paolo Castelli, Cassina, Poltrona Frau, Living Divani, Vistosi and others, creating a sophisticated atmosphere in which to continue have special experience, in agreement with the history and charm of this famous Hotel.
